What is Bridge to Hope?
Bridge to Hope provides resources and opportunities to the low-income, homeless, and under-served individuals and families in Goldsboro and Wayne County. We network with various organizations throughout our community striving to move those less fortunate towards self-sufficiency through building relationships, education, and training. We want to establish a community of resilient people whose lives have been transformed so that they can share with others how to become productive citizens who make good decisions and positive contributions to our society.
Our vision is to reach the unreachable, give compassion to those disregarded by society, to show love to those in need, and help the less fortunate see that their lives matter through education and training. We hope to give their lives purpose by leading them to a Christ-centered life.
We invite you to partner with Bridge to Hope to help transform the lives of the less fortunate in our community. Contact us to learn how your compassion can make a difference.

Components of Bridge to Hope Include:
Bridge to Hope, through partnership with a local medical group, offers free medical services and lifestyle opportunities to the homeless and less fortunate. Using a mobile medical unit staffed with licensed medical volunteers we provided professional medical screenings, light wound care, vaccinations, dental care, and referrals to those patients in greater need.
Through partnership with the Goldsboro Family YMCA, Bridge to Hope provides free mentoring to the disadvantaged in our area to equip them with educational, lifestyle coping, and financial skills.
Bridge to Hope, through partnership with local prison facilities, helps guide ex-offenders in transitioning back into the community. Bridge to Hope provides re-entry opportunities, including:
Assistance in locating a residence in which to live.
Assistance in obtaining necessary documents, such as a social security card and driver license.
A mentor to help them positively reintegrate back into society
Assistance in securing employment.
Assistance in providing food until they become self-sufficient.
Bridge to Hope also networks with other agencies in our area that are equipped to help re-establish the ex-offender back into society.
Through partnership with local attorneys, Bridge to Hope provides free legal advice to the less fortunate, homeless, and ex-offenders. We believe people will become better citizens when they understand their legal rights, the system of government, and the laws of our country.
Bridge to Hope is building a network of organizations working together to effectively serve the less fortunate in our community.
All services provided by Bridge to Hope are free of charge.
